Taking good photographs

It can be useful to take and use your own photographs as part of your creative process, and with many mobile devices now having a digital camera ‘onboard’, this is increasingly easy to do. An element of creative reflection is actually ‘looking’ at the image you are taking, and making decisions about where you want to focus and why; what you want to crop and why; and playing around with the image until it ‘feels’ right.
